Mending a Broken Heart

I heard a fascinating story some time ago which is certainly symbolic but has so much truth that I would like to share it.

This story tells us about a very sick, sad and hurting heart that went to a Clinic of Hearts where he had to be hospitalized as a true emergency; and there he found other hearts suffering also of many diseases; some seemed completely broken, others were bleeding, others were crying.
After some days, he was transferred to different sections, where he always found hurting hearts and in time he met many more.
He was happily surprised, when he found out that they all recovered by being taken care in a personal and careful way. And although many had been in crisis, they all finally healed.
The medicine was miraculous since they all completely recovered in time. And this heart went to see the director of the clinic to congratulate and ask him since he had seen broken hearts and after the treatment they all completely healed. What was the medication that was curing them all? These questions and concerns would get an answer.
The director of the clinic was a strong and magnificent heart as were the others working in that clinic.
What is the medication given here that heals the broken hearts?
And that director of the clinic who was a worthy and strong heart, completely healthy said: "Besides determination and dedication, we also offer here a sure medication, since we have not lost not even a case. Come, let's go to the laboratory and I'll show the formula."
They went and the director asked him to look through the microscope, saying: " This is the formula that will heal all the broken and mistreated hearts, even the ones close to death."
And that heart looked into the microscope and read a phrase, that was the secret key, the golden formula, which said: " In order to cure a broken heart, it is only needed to believe in Love again."

Love gives everything because of Love

If there is a spring of crystalline, pure, divine water -that will never consume, that will never become cloudy, it is for sure, Love, the spring born from the Divine, to satiate your thirst, to refresh your mind, to clean your wounds, to nourish and make you strong, to remove your doubts, to liberate from sorrows, to transcend resentment and to turn your love in full happiness.
If you learn to see Love as the virtue of giving, you'll know that exceptional spring. If you carry that grace, that candor, that purity, even, that passion of loving as much as it is needed and required, you'll be like that spring, reflecting, that sensible virtue of tenderness, peace and true affection. Then, you'll see Love becoming brighter than the sun, more successful than the horizon, deeper than Loving.
Because in the darkest darkness, you'll bring light of hope, you'll dissipate the shadows of confusion and no darkness will prevail, thus, Love will extend and you'll realize that there are no frontiers nor containing horizons for Love, because it goes beyond distance, time, form, space; Love goes beyond resentment, hate, disagreement and indolence.
And you'll see how Love liberates, reassures, transcends, and Love will become deeper since its secret is found in humility, and for this reason, it is sensible, open, integral and more than generous is profound, thus, nothing can be compared to its enormous commitment of giving, understanding, accepting, forgiving; Love is the spring of living water that will never dry because Love is unconditional and gives everything because of Love.

The Dissatisfied People

There was a high mountain -proudly rising, almost touching the stars and on its sides, strange people lived, who were somewhat fool and were always complaining of living by the shadow of the mountain.
"It blocks the sunlight, the vision of the horizon, a big portion of the ocean, we can't even see the stars. It is necessary to make this mountain flat, so we can see the horizon, the stars and a lot more." And their determination was such that they dynamited the mountain during many years and the day came when there was no mountain.
The horizon and the stars could be seen but they were surprised when their neighbors from near by villages, wanted to have their land. Then, they were attacked because there was no longer a mountain protecting them, and also, the strong sunlight burned their fields, while the winds like crazy warriors scattered the ashes and the people who had lived by the side of the mountain, bitterly cried contemplating the stars and the horizon until the moment that the people who did not understand nor appreciate their natural frontier, turned into dry sand and dust that the wind blew away.
And the story goes that the years passed and those people are not even remembered. And the persons who would arrive to that place, would say: " How beautiful this land could be, if it had a big mountain so its presence could be a natural barrier to care and protect, but this is a dream that will never happen"

Finding Inner Strength

Inner strength comes with practice, because we will only overcome our limits by perseverance. Self improvement must never be taken in a rushed manner.

Difficulties might become the most important teachings since nothing is as easy as we want to; today’s sacrifice may be tomorrow’s success.
Nevertheless, work and discipline begin in our thought and heart, then, the body obeys, and the skill is obtained which always must be humble and never spoil it with arrogance, which is the obstacle that prevents us of reaching the true goals. The art consists in flowing in the universe, overcoming violence, aggressiveness and reaching inner peace.

The Need for Compassion

There are days darker than night and there are nights like never ending darkness. For this reason, we have to be aware of the need of solidarity towards everyone. But there is something important to consider, something that perhaps could be confused: Compassion is never pity.
Compassion is a commitment of solidarity, fraternal understanding and unconditional Love. For example, a very dear person is hungry, thirsty, cold and you try to help, to attend to cooperate as a father to son , as a brother to another brother, as if he was somebody very close and it turns out that this somebody is the whole humanity. It is not only one person, but all the persons. Therefore, Compassion does not have to do with the expressions of poor little one or what an unlucky person.

Compassion is to share with happiness, compassion is to teach, is to take care, is to preserve and is to improve. But if my actions and service are based on pity or sorrow, then we would have to call pitiful love to love and is not like that.
We love, cooperate and do it because we are happy to give Love. And this makes us attentive, alert, vigilant and cautious.
We will find in the category of compassion, the purest virtue, the united solidarity, while discrimination, selfishness and preferences stay behind.
What is important here is that respect, opportunity and service are good and committed to give the best. What is the compensation ? The happiness of seeing a heart, a society, a universe. But compassion goes beyond because constant compassion strengthens, fills, purifies us and truly shows the way of Love to our fellow beings and of course is the path to receive the grace of God.
Nothing can develop if there is no compassion. It is synonymous of progress, balance, maturity, even of identity in compassion. And life deserves that we give everything for compassion because there we discover the whole, that is to say, truth and compassion are not only limited to man but they join us to the whole nature.
Compassion is the respect towards plants, animals, culture, the sensibility towards others which can be unknown to us, but which makes us know that everything contributes to a collective , integral good. How not to feel this commitment every day ? This even guide us because how not to cry with the one who cries? how not to laugh with the one who laughs ? How not to give our food and to share with the one in need whoever and wherever be ?
Don't we all share the same house, the same home which are earth and life ?
Compassion becomes stronger, rises and stands up as a titan opposed to any injustice. And also compassion is humble, magnificent and generous. What would happen to life without compassion ? In synthesis, Compassion is the practical, purest and most sacred science of Love.

These experiences of life, will give us the answer to our purpose in life and also the wisdom to realize superior goals. Let's use time in a clear, concise and correct way. We have to understand that we are centers of energy and our will attracts good or bad.
We learn from every new moment and the most important teaching is that we are living reflections of Divine Love.
Peace, harmony, good health and progress are real and natural, even, healthy spiritual aspirations. Let's reflect and let's do the right actions and let's not live only to pass through. A Better Perspective on Life

The meaning of living is not only to exist in a form, in a body with different ideas and emotions in time and space since life has a purpose that is not wealth, is not power, is not happiness, is not health, is not joy, is not pleasure. And this does not mean that the above is exclusive, but life is much more than this and that, it is even more than what is conceivable, or unthinkable.

Life from the deepest spiritual perspective is not the kind of life that I can reach or achieve but what I mean, is not exclusive to this either.
Let’s define: Life means that I will not be and will not live in me but God – excuse the presumption, will live in me. Let me not decide or smile, or cry, but God will, because He will exalt me to the greatest magnitude when He lives in me and for me.
This knowledge is the supreme explanation of holiness and of the spiritual path and there will not be highest perspective of life but when God makes His Will.

Happiness can’t be learned. It has to be experienced, realized, discovered, recognized within as a true experience of life. It is not something that you can read about, or that can be copied or imitated. It has to blossom like a truly genuine experience.
However, there are paths, processes, but they are not a replica. Each person has his special way to live and to be. Happiness is to feel love for all in existence. And this is only the beginning. But it is not only to say or to believe that we are happy, we have to experience it. It is not the opinion or the experience of others, it is our own process of life.

Life contains changing scenes, paradoxical situations where nothing would seem safe or stable. It is like a sea in movement coming and going incessantly.But what's important and magnificent about this, are not the changes, it is the control and direction that we maintain on each one of the situations. As if we were the captain of a boat with many years of experience. This wisdom is a gift from meditation: The calm in the disagreement, security in the insecurity, control in the uncontrollable. And in this way we could continue forever since the certain thing is that every situation requires of an attitude. However, if we find the way to peace, could we neglect to cultivate it ? The external world may be shaken and affected, may laugh and cry. It is born and dies, but the peace that we find in meditation is permanent balance and constant harmony.

The universe is the perfect work of the Creator. This creation has all the laws, norms, paths and avenues as time and space.
Man, as a creature inspired by the grandiosity of Goodness and Love, appreciates and feels the happiness and rhythm of life. He, then evokes this mystery and wonder by shaping it in different ways, as painting, music, poetry, sculpture, etc.

What is the cause of all this? The answer is simple and profound : The work of man is also, movement of spiritual energy because art has arisen from inspiration and from the effort of work, dedication, tenacity, persistence, self analysis, sense of self criticism, reasoning, surrender, love, passion, loyalty, fidelity, magic, mystery and many other things, which represent a single sharing.
